After 8 years of living in our old home, my husband and I have moved to a new town. It's very small and to top it off we live in the country. I don't work either and my husband works in a city about 30 min. away.
What's the best way to make friends. I'm a little rusty at this I think.

there's a new website that has all these categories that you can become a member of. Each category posts events of interest to you to go out and meet others that have the same interests.
Other than that, there is always church and your kids' schools if you have them.

Take a class on something you really like and meet others with your same interests, Volunteer, like the food bank or your local hospital, Take a plate of cookies to your nearest neighbor, go to church!

alwaysbe cheerful.. go to ur neighbours and share them in their happiness.....and in their sadness ..be very helpful and try to say goodbye or goodmorining even if u don know them and dont be angry if they didnt reply u cuz thats the way things go...and dont say bad words for them and the most important love them ......wish u luck!!!!!!!!!!!
