i need to do this for school for a project. is there a game out there that can make you cry? Let me know.
And please don't list games that made you frustrated, or because you broke the television or a black out happened or something.
Also, is this game out in stores? Lemme know...

Final Fantasy X
When you have to fade away after destroying Sin, and you won't get to be with Yuna, and your father is proud of you. It just hit one of those spots for me.

Maybe.... about 4 years ago, I was 13 and so still kind of immature, but....
I've always been an RPG fan and most RPG's have really involved storylines. Even less 'developed' ones can have moving storylines, like one in particular, Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II for Gamecube.
Although the game was meant to be played online in groups, it also featured an offline, single- or multi-player mode for people who couldn't connect their Gamecube with the seldom-used (and very unpopular) Gamecube modem.
Anyway, after roughly 25-30 hours of gameplay, you discover in the end of episode One that the person for whom you've been searching for throughout the entire game has been possessed, and you end up having to kill her. Maybe it's because I was younger, or perhaps it was because I had just played through a nearly three-hour-long final level, but that brought tears to my eyes.
So there you have it. PSO ep I & II should be in stores still; it shouldn't be too hard to find used.

Probably the only video game in history to make me cry is Final Fantasy VII for the Playstation One. It was when the "Ancient" girl Aeris who had been in my party for almost the whole game up to this part dies from the main Boss/Enemy in the game. Seeing the cinematic of a sword going through the girl I had come to grow fond of in the game, brought me to tears and I had an empty feeling for the rest of me playing the game. Never have I played another game to do something like that to me. I'm sure you can find a bunch of copies on like Ebay.com

Though I did not cry, I felt e bit emotional at the end or Final Fantasy X. It was sad because Tidus was disappearing into nothingness. And just before he goes, Yuna say I love you. It was kinda sad. Until you see Tidus underwater after the credits... yeah.

I cried when playing Final Fantasy VIII, when I was about 17 when Rinoa and Squall were in outer space. I'm Emo like that.

so sweet a love story. really makes u cry when yuna sings athousand words and it shows the flashback of lenne and shuyin. makes me emotional just thinking about it! *sniffle* hope this helps as i go get a tissue.

i havent played any games that ave made me cry so far but games r made to make u happy not cry. i have cried over a game cause of a lost save in a blackout though.

Harvest Moon a wonderful life, because eventually your guy dies and you have to start a new game and besides i was loaded in the harvest moon games.
