Mitsubishi Seats?

Just bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse. My mom drove it home. adn now I dont know how to move it forwards or backwards. Can only recline it and raise it up and down. This isnt what I want. I want to scoot it back for some leg room. Thanks. Its 98

It's on the left side of the driver's seat. There is a small handle and when you lift it up then you can slide the seat forwards or backwards. It's the same for all 2g eclipses from 1995-1999.
