I usually ignore it. But sometimes when it has gone past the line then i just confront it. Im over it already. Don't give me advice, just answer the question.

Question on the question. Is this after you verify and are sure the intent was to insult or the party was even aware that they made an insult? I ask because sometimes it is a matter of non communication and difference in perception. Now if its intended deal with it so don't get me wrong on that one. But lets make sure someone is really insulting as opposed to not communicating or inexperienced.

Live with it. One guy once took part of my answer and edited it into his question. When I called him on it he went thru every single one of my answers and reported me. He's a level 7 now, I'm 4.
It's not worth worrying about, sweetie.

I usually make a joke out of it or post a question with whatever they have said to me and make fun of it,they generally feel like an azz that way

If i got upset everytime someone insulted me id be in the nut hut, lol. I ignore it and move on. You have a wonderful day!

I get somewhat angry at the person and a few times I answer one of their questions and counter the insult.
