Catfish are scavengers, and will eat anything they can get in their mouth. So as long as you make sure the new fish are a little bit larger than that you shouldn't have any problems.

Your large catfish might think your new fish are food so buy them a little bit bigger than normal size and make sure there are plenty of places for them to take cover and hide.
