I had one-her son & I are now divorced. Please, sit down with your husband, and ask him to stand up for you with her. That is his place. No matter what side, mother's-in-law are NOT supposed to interfere in any way with their grown child's marriage. It is wrong to do. If your spouse will not stand up for you, then just try to avoid her as much as you possibly can. Or, with your spouse's approval, have a talk with her, see where she is coming from, and let her know it is your marriage, and you need time with your spouse, not with her so much. If she is wanting attention, time with her kids, then they should spend time occasionally with her. My ex MIL would lecture, and point her finger at us both and talk with us about stuff that was not any of her business. Grr! Other than that, maybe get into counseling for you and your spouse to learn how to handle this woman. I wish you the best. Take care.
