Feed your fish green veggies, peas, cukes, lettuce. This will help your fish. Also, feeding your fish these on a regular basis will help keep your fish "regular" and ward off swim bladder problems. Don't worry about what is stuck. Feeding your fish these greens will push thru the system.

I've had fish some years ago . Some bear live young ,however I don't remember if Silver Dollar are in that group. So, what I want to impress upon you is : Do not go in there and start pulling on that fish to help. Leave nature alone , he will do his /her own thing one way or another . I had Angel Fish and black Mollies in the same tank. The Angels turned into devils and waited under the Mollies to eat the babies . LOL.
Good Luck. Let it be a learning experience whatever happens .

Try fasting the fish for 24 hours and then feed a shelled pea or other high fiber food. That should "get things moving"
