Metallica really went downhill starting with the Black album. Try Metallica's Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, or Master of Puppets.

Well my vote would have to be Metallica because I love them, but I agree with the other poster that said they started going downhill with the Black album. Thats when they became commercial sellouts.

Nirvana's album.........Metallica's Black album is where they started to change their format......I love Metallica, but just all their albums before Black.
