sounds as if your down in the dumps we all get that way the only thing is that you have to find ways to bring your self back out again join a class or a group talk to friends go out watch movie ,read a good book do something with family that will make you look at things in a positive lite again.
it's OK to feel sad or empty sometimes but it's not good to stay that way.
fill your life with good things not temporary things because they don't last

I can't tell you why your particular life feels empty, and most likely, nor can anyone else here. This is an existential problem, and you're going about it in all the wrong ways. Instead of asking what you, yourself, need to do, you are trying to imagine that there is a universal fix to your longing - there isn't. Affirm the individual and deny the excuse of institutionalized happiness. Abandon your society and affirm yourself. You need to put your individual and unique experience, your subjective perspective, into the forefront of your own philosophy. Consider questions which recognize yourself. Accept perfect freedom in your life, and adopt, courageously, those things which matter to you. As of now, I would assume your life is empty because you're filling it with nothing. But, maybe you shouldn't be trying to fill anything. Instead, try to simply be and exist happily. Don't worry about the convention of living fully - live individualistically.

Depends what you have...depends what's most important to you...if you are single and want a partner then probably you feel empty cuz you don't have that and you need it so much....when you will get that you will look up something else to make you feel full :)
It is in human nature to look for more...and from time to times gets empty.
However thanks god its not permanent... when least expected all of the sudden you feel so good from a certain circumstances...
So it is not always like that....if you feel empty tonight...tomorrow might happen something that will give you energy...and yes after a while you will feel empty true.
But life isn't fair...so live it in the way you know...try to be present in every single situation... eat ice cream, go for a nice walk, call someone that you miss...and don't expect miracles...you know why...cuz they will happen not when you expect but when least expected...:)
Take care my yahoo friend!

Been there.
Emptiness is a crappy feeling that you probably won't be able to get rid of. I think that is one of the signs of depression. I felt that back when I was depressed. I still have my days on occasion when I feel alone, and empty (if that's what you mean?).. and I don't really know how to for sure help you, but suggestions are just try to always look at the positive sides of things. I know, a lot more easier said then done. Actually, one way that helped me a lot was avoiding home. I stayed as busy as possible for as long as possible, and my parents even noticed that I seemed happier. So maybe just try to change things up, and find stuff to do. Maybe it could help?

Earth is a place of emptiness. As long as you are human and on earth, it is always going to feel like there should be something else to life. Also, remember that your life is what you make of it.

There is always more. The more you go, the more you find and the more you figure out that there would be.
If you want not to feel empty, change your way of life, your field of study, your job or your beliefs. You will find out extensive fields you have not taken.

You don't feel content. So then whats missing? Is it personal, maybe your career, or even spiritual life?
You don't need to find answers all at once. Sometimes its just a matter of seeing what doesn't work before you know that does.

Yes, there is always something more. It is the most miraculously wonderful truth of our existence. The emptiness is only there to remind us that there is still more room for us to grow and learn.

Isn't that scary!0!
And that's only the beginning!
It gets a lot better later, when you realize that empty is all there is!0!
But THAT you gotta see for yourself.

No there is not supposed to be more and that is what humans don't understand. Life is eating, sleeping, and attempting to procreate. That's it. All the rest is window dressing. Find your own way, have your own fun.
