Hi comic fans! I'm reading Iron Man volume 2, just after the whole Onslaught saga. In this no-one seems to recognise Iron Man, and the Hulk storyline seems to start again from the beginning, with Banner getting blown up by his own gamma bomb and becoming the Hulk. How is this possible, when the Hulk showed up numerous times in volume 1 of Iron Man? Even if they died during Onslaught and were reborn, how come no-one else remembers them?

That's because Iron Man, Hulk, and other heroes that gave their lives to stop Onslaught were saved by Franklin Richards. In trying to save his parents and the other heroes he created a universe to save them. On that world everything started over storywise from the beginning with some twists. Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Bruce Banner, and Dr. Doom were college friends. Captain America's sidekick Bucky lived and started a family. His granddaughter became the new Bucky. Scarlet Witch was an only child with no clue as to who her father was and she was raised by Agatha Harkness. On top of this the heroes had no memory of their lives on their original Earth. If you read the volume 2's of Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, and the Fantastic Four all the way through you'll see they will start to figure out their circumstance and return to their original Earth with their memories intact. This site should further explain everything.

The Hulk ,Star Trek the producers no longer care to rely on past time lines. People who make comics tend to care very little for the hardcore fans. You as a hardcore fan is the foundation that the industry is build on .I it find hard to believe how stupid the producers are.

That, my friend, is the fault of the one who is more powerful than the Watcher, than Galactus, than Eternity, than the Beyonder— the hideous, ego-encrusted shambling mockery of a human being that dares to walk like a man and pretend to take it’s place among human beings--- The Editor!
