What should i play for football?

im about 5'7'' and weigh about 145-150 and have pretty good hands. im fast and can jump pretty damn well. I play basketball and im a monster on defense so a lot of my friends say i should play corner/safety on D and wide reciever on offense. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

5-7... if ur a beast on D concentrate on CB or S, u sound like u could be a good CB or S. and play WR too but u might be too short to be a dominant WR.

That depends on how old you are and how far you want to take it. If you're a junior or senior in High School, I'd suggest statistician or manager. If you're a freshman or sophomore, you could play corner and WR as well as possibly being a scat-back (depends on if you are in the 4.4-4.6 range for the 40 yd dash) when you get older and weight 185 or so.

I don't think you have the size necessary at the moment for a good high school safety, and if you're still small in 11th and 12th grade I probably wouldn't hold out hope of getting any position on either side of the ball. Successful HS programs have corners no shorter than 5'10" and WRs no shorter than 6'0". Ideal size for corners is 6'1", 190 lbs with a 40 time under 4.7.

I'm sure your coaches will place you in the right position once they evaluate your skill set. Exercise, eat a smart diet, and everything else will take care of itself.

go with wut ur friends say. If you can memorize stuff well, go for Wide Reciver, they have to memorize a LOT. A corner or a saftey dosn't have to memorize as much, but you have to be able to tackle, and run backwards. I play both, but i prefer wide reciver, just an opinion though
