it's the most popular travel destination in the Arab World coz running a business there is very easy and successful!
they care about tourists and citizens soO much
it depends on the alternative sources on economy like tourism, business world wide, industries..more than oil source revenues!
compared to the cities u motioned it's pretty cheaper but u can also say prices are the same!

Dubai attracts 1 Million tourists a year. It is a modern arab state with high class hotel facilities and state-of-the-art airport. National Airline "Emirates" is ranked the best airline and the service it provides is superb. Yearly summer and winter festivals is a festival of one of its kind.
Dubai is a tourist haven for two reasons:
a) it is a free port and therefore goods are cheap
b) it promotes tourism

Don't know about price but it holds many sports events and is very sunny.
