my disk drive will only read some cds not others?

i have a dimension 2400 comp, and the disk drive (drive D) will read the cd empires dawn of the modern world, but nothing else. particually battlefield 2. any help is much appriciated.

i know it's not the cds

Sounds like the lens of the laser is ready for a clean with a CD cleaning disk

The Cd's might be damaged!!!
