Rockefeller, Getty, Astor: all three grew exhorbantly wealthy for their time in the early dawn of the 20th century--comparably to the wealth currently enjoyed by Bill Gates and Donald Trump. All of which are considered aggressive Beta personalities--driven by focused greed.....and they ALL weave a common thread that their wealth DID (and still does) affect our U.S. economony system to a tepidly dangerous degree.
Winston Churchill: eccentrically British spokesman--bearing NO real military expertise other than he weilded the power of persuasion and was the British Army's catalyst for their driven focus in WW II. Many claim that w/out Churchill, the UK surely would perish into Nazi domination. Discreetly, Churchill claimed to a few trusted confidants that he may be psychic.......and for years, he had a beloved mistress along with his equally beloved wife.
What really is power? Power is the unobjectional privilege to do pretty much what your will suggests. It's measured and grown by social graces and favors given/owed.
The hat-trick is to not break laws (or not get caught breaking laws) to attain such power....be it via persuasion--or outright purchased. Two final cases in point:
The Kennedy Legacy: The wealth attained by Joe Kennedy was born out from bootlegging Canadian whiskey ( highly ILLEGAL) during Prohibition. Wisely saved, Kennedy massed a mega amount of wealth that bought him plenty of social AND political empowerment that allowed Joe to buy a political victory Presidential win for his son, known as JFK. From the underbelly of criminal scum and illegal deeds gave rise to pristine prim clean exhorbant wealth.
Simon Cowell: In a 17 year span, Cowell went from common working joe in the music media business, to Sony/BMG executive, to rights owner of American Idol and The X Factor--massively popular in America and UK--also featured in 36 other countries....with Cowell getting $$$ from each one. Cowell's take is estimated at $100 million--worth more than Sony/BMG client Bruce Springsteen--and Cowell has no musical experience and boasts no formal college education as well.
