I have asked questions on Yahoo Answers concerning Bush and his decreasing support. I just want to say before I inquire further that I am a former Marine. I am proud of our military and and support our troops to the fullest extent. I also want to say that people need not classify me as a liberal just because I do not support Bush. I will even say that "liberals" in office only claim to have an answer to play the minds of people that don't support Bush. But with all that said, while I was an active duty, security forces Marine, I watched as new recruits were issued desert cammies a couple years in preparation before the war in Iraq when they were issued nothing but woodland cammies. We were not even sanctioning Saddam at that time. The orders came from the top. This is not a rant from a conspiracist, these are facts coming from a Marine that witnessed it. I can fully support troops without supporting a faulty cause. For those that say that isn't possible, what wouldn't you go to war for

Are you saying you got the wrong camouflage clothing and so it's Bush's fault? I'm not sure if I understand you very well. One sentence seems to contradict itself.

Either way, I guess it could be the president's fault, but remember it's congress who okays the money for wars.

Talk to your commanding officer and find out what happened. Maybe there was a mix up.

Oh, and I guess I'm a Bush supporter, but I always support our presidents. I think Carter did a lot of damage and so did Clinton, but I still supported them. You can disagree with their strategies, but still support them if you like. I didn't like the wars Clinton started, but I supported him anyway even though I didn't agree with his motives and reasons.

Actually there has never been a president who had a very good approval rating during any of the past wars. Wars always make people mad at the president. Look how man people considered JFK a complete idiot, but most still supported him as the president.

With the Iraq war the polls show a dissatisfaction that's mostly based on the fact that we should've won by now. We tend to be very impatient people, even though we understand that wars are often long and difficult. Heck, we're still in most of the countries where we had wars over the last few decades.

Bush supporters are the imperfections we have in our society.

Hopefully their mistakes in this war president will alert more people not to vote for them again.
