Itunes . If you don't have the program go to the itunes website, download it and then add all your music to Itunes. you buy songs from here to also to get the songs on your ipod plug the usb cord in the computer and the other side in your ipod and let do that then when your compputer says ok to disconnect you can unplug your ipod from the computer

Drag & drop the music on the iTunes library to the iPod. If your iPod is set to automatically upload music from the library to iPod that's good! but if you use another person's library the iPod will sync all the music from the person's iTunes library to your iPod, and that's not good! To not let this happen go to "Preferences" under "Edit" and go to the iPod options and uncheck the box that sync music from library to iPod so that you can drag & drop the songs you want from the person's library to your iPod.

iTunes is the only way to get music onto your ipod itself, but its not the only place to download music. You can still buy the music at any online store that downloads into the mp3 format. iTunes will not take wma format, it won't convert it because the website usually license protects it.

Itunes would be the best suggestion. If you don't have the program (disc) go to the itunes website, download it and then add all your music to Itunes. If you're looking for music you can buy it from the itunes store, napster, or where ever you prefer.

From your cd: first get onto itunes and then put in your cd there will be a little box asking you if you want to import the songs click ok. afterwards wait and then when done importing than just plug in your ipod to update.
