How do I fix my soundcard / sound device?

It is either the soundcard or device, i do not know which. do you buy a new card? or if it is the device what do you do?

Hi. Always try re-seating the soundcard first because sometimes the contacts get poor. Then try uninstalling from 'Control panel' and reboot. Worst case you get a new one.

Have you tried to reinstall driver for your sound card and see if it works?
