Cancer moon and Pisces moon compatible ?

Question

My husbands sun sign is Gemini, mine is Cancer, we are not supposed to be compatible, but his moon is Pices and mine is Cancer and we both have Venus in Cancer. Is this why we get along so well despite our Sun signs clashing ?
