All they have done so far is waste tax payers money on litigation. More to follow...

They will continue to look for ways to increase their control of your life and your money. The witch hunt is just a way to appease the socialist base, sort of payback for the votes.

There is a war in America, it is about money and control. Remember Pelosis words, when we are in control.

The congressional shows you the guiding document for the democrat party that has been followed very closely since the 60's. Show me one thing in it that the dems have not tried to accomplish.

So far, it hasn't been a witch hunt. They've been investigating who leaked the identity of an undercover CIA operative who was working for our country, trying to find out who had weapons of mass destruction. It's a fact that someone leaked Valery Plames identity. That's treason. Why would any patriot endanger a CIA agent and all the people she's ever dealt with over seas? I don't care which side of the aisle your party sits on, that's just plain wrong.

Oversight is one of the main responsibilities of Congress. It's your government working at its best. Believe me, with all that smoke out there, they're going to find some big fires.

Too bad the last Congress didn't do their job. We might not be in the mess we're in now. Why do you think they called the last Congress the Do Nothing Congress? Why do you think they're gone now?

I'm sure they will waste a few more days to debate on some topic concerning the president and then vote on it for no reason what so ever since it will be a non-binding resolution.

God knows they will not do anything of importance.
(Can I say God while talking about congress or will the ACLU come looking for me?)

Maybe, but you know when you follow in the footsteps of such GRAND prosecutors like Kenneth Starr, who prosecuted a president based on his activites beneath his desk (and is currently involved in a Supreme Court Battle over a Principal restricting a student's free speech OFF of school grounds at a non-school sanctioned event), then it's hard to break out of the mold.

Or do you just not like it when the tables are turned? I'm confused.

As long as it keeps the sheep entertained and not asking why such and such bill hasn't passed they will continue.

Well, you know they already have passed several beneficial bills as part of their first 100 hours platform.

Furthermore, a little accountability never hurt anyone...at least not anyone who was honest.

I hope not. I hope they keep doing exactly what they are doing. I hope they do it more. I hope they do it in public.

It will keep them from doing any real mischief, and will show the people what they really are.

No. Did anyone really expect them to? I know I didn't.
