I have just recently been on it, and seen those herrible vidoes!!I had no idea that people would do those kind of hurtful things to animals!!! I cried so munch!!!! I am glade that people are showing it on those vidoes!! I really want to do the same things that they are doing to the poor animals to them!!!! They shoud die!! I am like so mad at those poeple!! I was just wondering why they arn't really doing anything about it??

I used to be 110% for peta, but what i didnt realise was that peta are extremeists. They find the worst of the worse case scenarios, publicate them and lie about them even more-- they take donations for "good causes for animals" but the media has recently shown they dont really put our money to good use. They exhaggerate so many things and try to find every reason why we this and this and this and that is wrong, they pretty much are all a bunch of nutso that try and recruit young minds that are easily molded. Try and look at another website that isnt so extreme, because peta is not the one to really be looking at-- maybe try and get another opinion. I know that animal cruelty is going on and i am SO against slaughter... i have been a vegetarian for 2+ years and i dont wear fur or buy any leather! I agree and i think action needs to be taken, but peta is not the organization to lead it!

Peta has some bad press. It's too bad, really, because the things they do get right (like Iam's horrific practices) get overlooked because folks label then "nuts".
I refuse to watch the videos because I have seen far too many to want to anymore. I know what they show, and people don't do anything because it's too easy to label Peta as crazy people on a crazy mission than to sit back and reflect that many of the testing facilities could very easily use pain control if they cared about their animals, but hey.. it's just an animal.. right?

I love animals, and its true that theyre being abused and killed every day, and it's also true that many organazations are doing something to stop this.
Peta isn't one of them. Peta doesn't care about your animals, they care about your money. They show up only to "help" animals when there's big media coverage involved. (ie- when steve irwin died, peta was quick to jump on that and say that he had it coming)
They are extreme in the fact that they'll kill animals to prove their point, they fund known terrorists, and they'd rather see a human die, then have them mess with an animal.
Also, Peta has been known to "help" people who can no longer care for their pets. Peta will come to their house and get their dog or cat, and promise them a good home. But did you know that before they even drive away, they kill that dog or cat in their van?

Im all for helping animals,and if you want to do it, donate or volunteer at your local humane society, but dont give money to peta, please. All they'll do is line their pockets with it.

PETA defiantly over exaggerates. The things that they test on animals are almost always necessary, there are a few tests that give animal testing a bad wrap, but would you rather have the testing for lifesaving cuers never be done because a few animals have to suffer. Its for the greater good.

They mspca or aspca or whatever are trying to save animals harmed like that. But the website sounds awful even though i've never been on it!!!!
They arrest people doing things like that it's like torture to people with fur or scales or fins or what not!!!!

for the seal one..theres nothing the american gov. can do its occuring in canada.i cried too its horrible i love all animals and seeing those little innocent faces i dont know how you could hurt something thats that adorable and sweet.

well, first of all, PETA often exaggerates things.
second of all, people are doing things to help, you can volunteer to help with animals, adopt from shelters, etc....
