who cares, i can't stand the movies... let alone a weekly television show!!! eww!!!

All I hear is that the "live" action drama isn't going to be ready any before 2009, although Lucas is planning to start filming next year. They plan at least 100 episodes, and it will be set in the time period between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. (link 1 below...)
A new animated "Clone Wars" series is also in the works, and will likely run in 2007. Its supposed to feature a 3-D style of animation, and will star many familiar characters from the movies. (New voice actors will be recruited-- no movie actors will lend their voices to the project.) (2nd link below...)
