I agree the BBC do some amazing shows. Although, to clarify, Footballers Wives isn't one of them. I used to love watching that and did so up until Conrad got shot, but not it has go off air and they are not making anymore which is quite sad...
Don't fancy being a footballers wife but I have to admit, the money and the freedom it can bring would be amazing lol!

Never watched Footballers Wives to me it was a waste of time viewing the show and not a BBC programme thank goodness (or I would be witholding my License fee lol).
I live in the UK and yes I love watching BBC shows like Eastenders, Life on Mars, Keeping up Appearances, Vicar of Dibley, Hustle, Little Britain and other shows.
I do love American tv shows like Becker, Everyone Hates Chris, 24, Quantum Leap, Smallville and The Simpsons

I'm afraid footballer's wives is a bit of a cheezy show... But my girlfriend comes from Cleveland, OH and loves UK shows like "Shameless" and "Sugar Rush" about the teenage lesbians in Brighton! I think they're cheezy too but I'm happy that she's happy!

Even the producers of the show have stated that it is suppossed to be a parody of WAGS you are suppossed to loathe them, thaaat's the point of the show. The same as Alf Garnett in the 70s, that was a swipe at racists, as Warren Mitchell (Alf Garnett) told a taxi driver in no uncertain terms once.
