The mascot in terms of name is the "Aggies" (as "A&M" stands for Agricultural and Mechanical), and the team colors are maroon and white. If you want some extra points, you might point out that Reville, a beautiful female collie, is also the team mascot. There have been several Revilles down the years. There is one individual from the A&M Cadet Corps whose assignment it is to care for Reville; she is allowed to sleep anywhere she wants to (including a cadet's bed, at which point he must sleep on the floor), and she is allowed in any class. Tradition has it that if Reville barks in class, the whole class gets a "walk" for the day.
