Homer is the king obviously, but other characters I really like are Mo the bartender (he gets some great lines) and Mr "Release the hounds" Burns. Comic Book Guy is funny too. You are right, they are all great.
My mate has a cousin called Bart Simpson. It's true. He's about 60 so it wasn't his parents taking the mick.

Frogspawn got it right! Sideshow bob is great! The cape fear episode when he's standing on the rakes still makes me laugh every time! Oh and the driving over the cacti! Great!
