It is probably your baby just moving around and being in different positions...check with your Dr. just to be safe. I know my son would stick his little but out and that place would feel hard :) Good Luck!

You might be having contractions. If the contractions don't go away, or happen on a regular basis (like every 8 minutes), call your doctor and go in to be checked. Does it happen when you are doing too much like standing or lifting? It can be Braxton Hicks contractions (not true labor contractions). If you do feel contractions, rest and try to take it easy. If they go away, then they are what is commonly called false labor or Braxton Hicks. That can be very normal and nothing to worry about. Just be sure you aren't in true labor at 33 weeks! That is a little early for the baby's lungs to be fully developed (around 35 weeks).

good luck!

Hi,

I think it is just the baby moving into diffrent positions. Obv babies move so it could be that.

The other thing is eating. Sometimes for me after eating my tummy gets hard then it goes soft again.

Depends on when it is happening. If you are worried ask your doc.

Your baby is moving around and you might be feeling his/her head or feet. There is muscle tissue that is being pushed as well. You might feel a hard lump by your belly button, that feels kinda like a knot. That is muscle tissue.

It sounds like you're noticing Braxton Hicks contractions. If your uterus is tightening, that very well could be your body practicing for the real thing.

It's okay, and shouldn't alarm you unless it's a regular tightening before you're 37 weeks along. If you time them, and they're regular, call your OB.

When it feels so solid it could just be that the baby is pressing in that particular area at that time. When your stomach is not so tight... it could be that he or she is resting on the opposite side and not pressing in that location. Nothing at all to worry about.

Have you been to the OB/GYN??? If your doctor thinks you are ok then stop worrying yourself. Some women develop more, you may just have a small baby. But consult your doctor, eat right, get plenty of rest.

Well it is probably your baby pushing against you and when its softer the baby is probably just not pushing as hard. With my son i felt the same things. Good luck
