I'm sorry your friend ditched you. It is totally rude or something. She probably does have some sort of mental issues, but not the "crazy" kind...more like the "I'm not certain enough about myself to stick by my friends and will run-off to whatever is newer and more exciting" kind of issues. If she's really the true best friend she'll be back. Just be ready to forgive her. If she's not then better you find out now.
