I have reinstalled my belkin wireless connector

my my computer says the device is working fine but my BT help says no network card detected
could someone take me by the hand and walk me step by step through how you fix this problem

yeah dude, had same prob, my best answer, So long as you have the username and password from your ISP, and can log into the router (usually opening a browser and entering 192.168.0.1 or something similar) you can setup the router manually. Basic settings to look out for are:

Multiplexing Method - VC Based
VPI - 0
VCI - 38
Encapsulation - PPPoA
Username - to include the '@HGxx.btinternet.com'
IP address - Dynamic
DNS - Dynamic

I have had lots of problems with Belkin stuff was only the other day my niece was trying to use the bluetooth connection on her mobile it found the phone ok but would not transfer info in either direction my computer also claimed the Dongle was properly installed just gave up in the end and she just sent me a mms instead much quicker and it solved the issue but that is no help to you sorry !!!! well sounds like Natalie has the same high opinion of that thing as I do I also have a pen drive made the same firm and that is also rubbish !!!!!!!!!!

ok if you the Belkin is a connection then go to:
Start
Control Panel
Wireless Network Setup
and then run the wizard, it should pick up the Belkin.

If it doesn't then
Start
Control Panel
Network Connections
right click on the Belkin and establish connection- if this still doesn't get you on then you are free to email me and i'll look into it further

My Belkin wireless stuff doesn't work either. I can't tell you the problems i've had with it. Take my advice and put it where it belongs: in the bin
