hey im havin terrible trouble trying to recall a single from the late nineties (probably 98). Its some sort of african song, really catchy and you could dance to it. im not sure if it made number one or not. i cant remeber any lyrics but there was a lot of "hey's" in it. if u have any suggestions what it might be, please answer! its driving me nuts!

There are only two sort of african songs that have hit the top 20 in the UK. The first is Mory Kante with "yeke Yeke" and the second was a chap called "Wes" and the song called "Alane" This last one was very good and quite danceable.
