Why do women have to use 10 words for every one word from a man?

it fascinates me that all women who answer this think it is about some short-coming on the man's part.

Linguists have proven millions of times over that men actually talk more than women...He Says, She Says by Tannen explains that it is a myth that women talk more than men. Tannen is a well respected linguists who specializes in the gender differences of language.

Inspite of it, women are more gifted linguistically than men are and women have more social skills. Men are often better at spacial intellegence, directional orientation and mechanical skills but women exceed men in the number of vocabulary words they use and their ability to communicate. Even so, women usually defer to men and men do more interrupting, contradicting and use fewer vocabulary words while talking more...redundancy.

In reality, men speak about 10 words for every one word a woman speaks...generally speaking. Men are big time talkers especially when around other men. And that's a fact Jack!
