This is an easy one. Don't take weaver, he is having arm problems... pitched way over his head last year. beckett def. no. Pettitte... injuries... Capuano=era too high... Mussina=old. Your answer here comes down to 4 in my opinion. Cain, Young, Myers and Haren. The most reliable is Haren. Cain has the most upside. Myers has the most K's. Young finally broke out last year and could break out more. Go with Myers, I hate the phillies but he is deffinately the best choice. He will rack up the ks, have a good whip, a good era and get 15 wins with that phillies lineup.

How is there this many good pitchers on waivers. Ok, well first of all don't take Roger Clemens. He may not play this season and if he does it will be mid-season. Chris Capuano is having a tough spring training so stay away from him. Really the choice is between Weaver, Young, Myers, Mussina, Santana, and Beckett. I would take Young or Myers because you know they will produce this season. You can think about taking Jered Weaver but, you don't know how his sophomore season will fair.

First of all which league are you in with all of these players avaliable. I would have to say Myers. Weaver will be figuerd out by the MLB hitters. After going on a tear the 2nd half of the season managers will be studiing film on him like crazy. I expect a slight sophomore slump. Myers is a great pitcher. He is good for about 200 k, 3.5 era and 13-16 wins.

These people are on waivers? Wow this is really a big list. I would go with either Cain, Young, Haren or Mussina. Cain is the best option being the youngest and honestly thinking the most talented at this moment.

Are you kidding me? Weaver is a choke in waiting. If Josh Beckett is avaliable on waivers, grab him. After that I'd go in this order, Capuano, Mussina, Haren. If you have another spot, I'd scoop up Clemens and stash him. I'd stay away from the rest on your list.

Go for Josh Beckett, Ervin Santana, Andy Pettitte, or Mike Mussina. Here is how I rate it.
1. Andy Pettitte
2. Mike Mussina
3. Ervin Santana
4. Josh Beckett
Whatever you do do not go for Roger Clemens. Chances are, he will only start playing in like July and he is going to suck then.

haha, how many people are in your league? Four? Id take Dan Haren or Pettite. Pettite is old but ERA and WHIP are good indicators of where a pitcher is when healthy. He had stellar numbers in both of those categories. Also Haren is a great pitcher. He'll get a good amount of strikeouts. Dont take Weaver, he was a one year wonder!
