Do you like the name Alianne? Have you ever heard it before? If so, where?

I love it, it's beautiful!! I have heard of it, although it was in a book. It was a girl in the Tortall universe, in mulitple books by Tamora Pierce.
Alianne is definately one of my favourite names.!

I like the name, but I think it may sound too much like alien, how about Aliana? I have heard Aliana before, my friend has a little girl named Aliana. It's a nice name and the child could be called Ali or Anne/Ana for short.

Every substitute teacher that child ever has will ask if "Alien Smith" (or whatever your last name is) is present. Telemarketers will ask for Alien Smith. Anybody who reads the name aloud without thinking will say Alien. If that seems fair to you, then yes its a good name.

I have never met someone with the name Alianne, But have with the name Alianna. I like it either way.

I think the name is too close to the word "alien" and the poor child would be made fun of.

never heard of this, but here is a suggestion...Alleyne- pronounced Al-leen. It was my great grandmother's name and now my sister's middle name and I may name my daugter it as well.

It sounds too much like Alien, avoid it at all costs.
