Does carbon dioxide dissolve into 2M dilute hydrochloric acid? Will this only happen under certain circumstances. Please divulge. Oli :D

No is the short answer, one common chemical for CO2 adsorbing is sodium hydroxide.

guess if i don't even know what 2M is then i shouldn't even by answering the question...

I'm currently trying to figure out why Nitrogen comes out of solution when ascending from a dive and CO2 doesn't... any suggestions welcomed lol
