ok i want to start modeling and im starting my portfolio but i want to get a professional photographer to take my pics...anyone know the price and some good websites where i can find some??? thanks and pleasee help me!

I'm gonna start modeling to i gotta have two pictures and a mono log by April 7th eek i always do things last minute and i have no idea GOOD LUCK THOUGH

You should probably look in the phone book and start calling the places of photographers that list 'portraits' as one of their specialties. Then, you can ask for their prices. In addition, you could probably go in to their studio and ask to see their portfolios as well. If you let them know you're making a portfolio and need head shots, you will be able to better determine if he/she is the right photographer for you by looking at some of the photos they have taken. You could probably get some references from them as well. This way, you can call former models and ask how the session went, if they felt comfortable and all those other questions.

Some photographers will trade for work, as in you go and do a shoot for them and they'll give you some prints. Mostly you've got to check in your area but try looking on onemodelplace.com too.
