Why are Liberals so two faced?

They'll say they support the troops and then turn around and vandalize Memorials and burn the Flag that Veterans have fought for?

Liberals are anarchists. Ask a liberal how to solve a problem and what you get is an insult. They don't have a clue about how to fix the problem with terrorism. They would just assume have another Clinton stroll in - cut our defense way back and hand over the keys to our freedom. The definition of "patriot" is a person that proudly supports or defends his or her country and its way of life. Liberals seek to destroy everything about the American way of life.

Europeans thought they could make friends with terrorists, and you can - for a price. The downpayment is your freedom and the balance is your life. The Swedish welfare state is near bankruptcy. The "gang raping" of citizens has quadrupled in the past few years and guess what? 85% of the rapists are Muslim immigrants. I wont even go into the "honor killings" that have worked their way into the swedish culture.

Muslim immigrants in Norway are the recipient of social security benefits 10 times as frequently as native norwegians. Let me spell it out - the citizens fund the program and the Muslims drain it.

In Berlin - police routinely go to public schools because of the hostilities of Muslim students. When reporters went to the schools - they were pelted with stones by the Muslims.

Believe me - I could go on. Muslims have an uncivilized majority that can, will, and wants to destroy countries and people that are not Muslim

Liberals are not a collective whole any more than conservatives are. Most liberals I know, including myself, would never vandalize a memorial or burn the flag. We are law abiding citizens. Many of us have been in the military or have family serving over there, and our goal is to bring the troops, as many as possible, safely home alive. But at the same time we still respect our country and our soldiers. Liberals who would do something like that do not speak for me.

Two faced is accusing others of vandalizing monuments and burning flags with no proof or facts while supporting a party who mocked the very medals that we Veterans earned at their 2004 convention.

Not all liberals are against the troops and not all conservatives are for the troops.
This is the problem in our society today that we want to generalize a group, regardless of if it's political or otherwise, based on the actions a few.
I consider myself somewhere in the middle politically. I 1 million % support our troops, but I am not a fan of the war itself.
The troops are just like you and me, they are people, with families and they feel pain and bleed red just like the rest of us. They are sacraficing alot, ALOT!! And noone should be condemning them. However, I do know that even some of them are questioning why they are there.
So all I mean to say is that if we quit fighting against each other, use common sense, and stop generalizing, we might actually find a solution to all these problems our society is facing right now.
And we can't count on our government, liberal or conservative to solve them all. We "The People" have to set an example for them. A government is only a reflection of the actions and apparent desires of their people. If we want our government to act in a way that represents our true needs and desires, then we need to start reflecting that in the people we elect. Instead of chosing them solely on the fact they are in our "party."
In the meantime, I do not agree with people burning flags and talking bad about our troops. But, these are exceptions to the rule. Most people, conservative or liberal are just people. They want the same things you want the same things I want.
A better, happier, healthier, more prosperous life, a safe life.

I agree with you, however ... the law about burning the flag etc was passed when Republicans had still control of both the house and the senate ... mind you many Republicans voted for it. Not because they oppose the US laws but because it was a matter of rights and first amendment.
Don't get me wrong I hate the idea and i support our hold ways that give an identity to this nation. But i wouldn't call JUST liberals two faced ... they ALL are.

As for burning the flag-that's a right that ALL people-conservative and liberals-have.

As for THIS Liberal, I support our troops who are fighting in the war, even if I don't support the war itself. I honor and respect those laying down their lives in what they see as their duty, and would never ever deface something so important as a war memorial.

Of course, Liberal is not synonymous with ignorant moron, you know.

Not all libs commit these acts, only the ones who have been indoctrinated with anti American beliefs through the bad mouthing of our country from their parents.
I don't think that they actually realize the impression they give when forcing politics down their kids throats.
Children take everything to heart and when dad says something out of anger to their kids, they take it literal .

I'm not defending the actions of the liberals. BUT.. There are radical liberals and radical conservatives. And I would guess it is them who are doing the vandalizing. What a shame and they call themselves true Americans.?

Why is the thinking of so many cons on this board so myopic that they have to lump everyone into the same category. I guess it takes too much thought to view people as individuals.
