All of the planets have global warming right now.

Most global warming theorists have never heard of the term "solar variability". Solar variability caused the earth to leave the ice age in less than 20 years, and it caused the earth to have a little ice age several hundred years ago.

NASA: "Rapid changes between ice ages and warm periods (called interglacials) are recorded in the Greenland ice sheet. Occurring over ONE OR TWO DECADES, the warming of the Earth at the end of the last ice age "

NASA data has proved that the "Little Ice Age" was caused by less light reaching the earth ("solar variability", which means changes in the sun).

NASA's data about the little ice age. http://tinyurl.com/227h3p or ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/da... (This data can be copied and pasted it into Excel to chart it.)

Well they will just dismiss you, and follow their god and inventor of the internet, AL Gore. I don't know if Mars and our global warming is connected, but this is enough proof that we don't know everything yet, and it may take some time before we do.

I want to see proof that we are using CFCs on Mars. I have never heard that one, and this the most absurd thing I have heard in a long time. I did give the responder the benfit of the doubt and did a couple google searches, and came back with nothing. There are theories that releasing CFCs into Mars atmosphere is one way to possibly terraform the planet, but by no means is something we are currently doing.

To the person that said we shouldn't be listening to one scientist. What about Galelio or Copernicus, if we didn't listen to them we would still think the sun revolves around us, and we would know alot less about gravity.

It is a well known fact that the world goes through phases some warmer than others NOBODY ever disputed that. Climate change is about the extra pollutants we put in the atmosphere that will affect how hot the warm period gets.

Articles of the sort pander to the uneducated with the intent to confuse feeble minds.

I e-mailed Al Gore your question. He replied that he's on his private plane spraying carbon dioxide into the atmosphere on his flight across the country right now but will ponder your question when he returns to his 50,000 square foot home, even if he has to stay up all night and leave on his 100 lights. Al also said to those of you complaining that he doesn't practice what he preaches........."I'm Al Gore and I'm special you ketchup eating peons!!!!!!!!!!!"

Why would any one care about the climate on Mars?

We need to worry about things here on Earth!!

it may or may not be of interest to you, but studies are being conducted on Mars to try and raise the global temperature by using...that's right! CFCs that were banned in the US for being a greenhouse gas

Mars melt is obviously not human causes because we don't even exist on Mars. Your point?

Once scientist making an outlandish claim that is not accepted by the scientific community is not something you should be paying attention to.. nor is it anything that needs explanation. Corralation does not equal causation. learn this statement.

I'm waiting for the "debate is over" crowd to start posting. I can't wait for history to prove Al Gore and his religious cult wrong.

Religious fanatics (man made global warming crowd) never think they have to explain anything to people that do not share their faith
