im 13 and i just had my 1st period last month. i counted from the1st day of it and this is the 28th day. i heard it usually comes later but my stomach has been mildly cramping a little today (could have just been gas or something) so should my period be coming really soon like tonight or tomorrow?

On your first year, it is hard to tell when it comes. Look for the signs such as cramps, bloating, cravings, and moodiness. I wouls say it is on its way again...

its quite normal for a young woman's cycle to be irregular at first, just keep an eye on the dates that you DO get your period, very important for the doctor and to help keep track of things for you. Your body is going through a change, and the cramping is a sign also breast tenderness, back pain or discomfort, headaches, cravings, everyone's different.

Yes, and no. Every person is individual. My mom got hers every 28 days like clockworks. But I could never be sure because it would sometimes be anywhere up to 36 days when I was young.
Just be sure you carry a pad or whatever in your purse to school and you'll be prepared. You'll know as the months go on.

well your period won't be regular for like 2 years. so i wouldn't count on your period to come for a while. im still waiting for my 6 or 7th period to come. it's been 21/2 month since my last.
