UCLA

I know that the Pitt fans are holding out for a big victory over UCLA, but not going to happen in my estimation. Believe it's going to be Kansas and UCLA playing for the right to head to Atlanta, with the Bruins coming out on top! Go Bruins.

Here's your help. Forgive me if you know this already but Howland, UCLA's coach, was Pitt's head coach before leaving for UCLA. Pitt's present coach, Dixon, was Howland's assistant for 7 years. Howland knows him inside and out because he taught him everything he knows. Pitt's system is the same as UCLA's with two important differences: UCLA has better players and a better coach to run that system. Howland left Pitt because he can attract more talent at UCLA.

Addressing D'shoes post about West Virginia: first of all a five point victory isn't "destroying" anybody, secondly it was a road game for UCLA in the morning 3,000 miles away, 3rd and MOST IMPORTANTLY, UCLA's most important player, point guard Collison, missed the game due to injury. That was the one and only game they played this year without him. In his place was a scared freshman who helped the team dig a hole they couldn't get out of. If all that wasn't enough their starting center played hurt the first half and missed all of the second.

Same system as Pitt, but with better players and a better coach. UCLA. Bank it.

UCLA should win. Yes Pitt may be taller but then UCLA won a title with a 6'9" center before. NO BIG DEAL.
As for Virgina, Who out there remembers Houston. 2nd game was for everything and UCLA took it.
This team is different but just as good. GO BRUINS

I hope UCLA, but don't think they can match up with Pitt's size. They have 7' center and a 6'10" power forward starting compared to UCLA's tallest player at 6'9". Don't think UCLA will be able to match up when Pitt slows the game down into a halfcourt game.

Pittsburgh!

Man I'm a Mountaineer fan and Pitt has wiped the floor with us both games. West Virginia destroyed UCLA.

Take Pittsburgh. Hope this helps and you select this as the best answer.
