WOW...an intelligent and thought provoking question...followed up with a whole lot of fear and hateful answers! And the ignorance!!!

I assume you are talking about Muslims, not radical Islamic extremists? In that event, we should celebrate the forming of a new country on our planet. Another opportunity for trade.

The lack of understanding in the forum boggles the mind. The so-called Christians on this site are answering the way I would expect a radical Islamic extremist to answer...kinda sad, and more than a little scary...

What SHOULD America do? Well America should let them do what they like, as it's none of their business what non-US citizens do if it doesn't affect the security of the US.

What America WOULD do? A whole different story, which would depend on where this country was situated. If it was in a similar place to where the previous caliphate existed (i.e. the middle east and the Balkans) then not a great deal would change geographically or demographically - however having all those oil rich nations working together would certainly put the US in a fix. Like what the CIA do whenever there is an anti-US government in south America they would probably fund insurgents and terrorists to bring about a civil war.

For once, I know this will sound radical, but why is it any of America's business? Though that boat sailed long ago and America preacher of self determination, Justice and equality for all. Those are now bitter words from a crazed paranoid superpower, searching for enemies as it destroys the planet it wants desperately to dominate. Believe it or not America has created all of her enemies except her true enemy. The true real enemy of the United States of America was incensed when she through off her chains of slavery and the evil banking system it owned, creating paper money with no gold standard. Arming nation after nation and pitting them against each other for profit.
The founding fathers would be shocked that all they did to rid us of Briton and their Bankers with their never ending wars that a little over a hundred years ago Wilson Lamented too late "i think I ruined my country.." after signing the Federal Reserve, belonging to private bankers by the way can be traced to something called triple crown in London England. Names Confidential.
So we should congratulate them, seeing how easy Briton got back her colonies and we pay a heavy price...Mary.

will be freaked out, the Muslims have really lots of power full things, from money to oil, to a great land, but they don't have the strength to form one country yet, Muslims are not terrorists to those who are mixing between real Islam and their ideas about terrorism, Islam is a religion of peace, and whats happening right now, is from certain Muslims who had no other way to explain their anger from whats America is doing to the world, especially the Muslim countries;

For 25 years U.S.A. supported leadership in Iran that kept Iranian democracy from occuring, despite popular support by the people of Iran. Re: The bloody dictatorship of the Shaw of Iran.

Highly unlikely 'if' you got going there, as there are many chisms within the Muslim world -- Sunni, and Shiite; theocrats and secularists; and on and on.

However, the view of true Americans would be the principle of "the consent of the governed" -- not that we have abided by that (Spanish-American war, when we took and ruled formerly Spanish territories against their will, through assassinating popularly elected leaders in Asia and Latin America, etc., etc., etc.).

That wouldn't be our actual reaction, but that WOULD be the more "American" attitude.

good question but dont bother to find an answer. cuz it will never happen. on the contrary to the common percepiton, the muslims over the world are so separated that they would not even dream to form a union. their practices of religion differ from one state to another.
Being a "muslim" is just a contemporary term to define sides so that each side could pursue their cheap political maneuvers

Well thats a fantasy novel story pretty much. As you can see that Sunni and Shia Muslims fight all the time as one major example that Muslims fight with each other, unless they have someone else to fight.
They would never form one country they could never get along to do so.

HUH? You mean the Muslims take over America and form their own country? Not a chance - it will never happen!

Some country in the middle of somewhere, fine. I don't care. That's their business. Just make sure they stay on their side of the world and leave me alone
