Since there are many solar eclipses that can be seen from points in both hemispheres, like the one later this month, I would bet that this website will give you the info that you want: http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/SEmono/TSE2006/TSE2006.html

Having lived in a town in the middle of the path of totality of the February 1979 Total Eclipse, and having found it to be a significantly spectacular event in my life, I wish you the good fortune of finding an eclipse to view for yourself.

The source is a NASA page that tells you about future eclipses all over the world. I found this page by typing "eclipses" in a google search and it was the first link that came back. You could have done that too.

The total solar eclipse of July 11, 2010 is visible in the southern hemisphere.
