What does "passion" mean to you?
Note: ok, people calm down. After reading some of your posts, I realize that I was wrong and should be more descriptive.

Passion is to care so much about something that it hurts, or even though it hurts, to keep on going.

Passion to me, would mean a belief in something, that goes beyond belief. You put your soul into it, all of who you are, all your heart.
The best demonstration of passion would be Jesus Christ, He went through so much for each and everyone of us, and God the Father, told His son Jesus, that you have the power to lay down or take your life up - meaning that at any time, Jesus could say no and be done with the whole thing. But because of His abounding love for all of us, He suffered, died, laid in a tomb, and three days later, rose again. He did all this so we could be with Him.

In my opinion, passion is the amazing strength to act which energy provides me with when I am feeling great.
This definition makes me a very passionate person most of the time. It is like there is no way that I would want to waste time or energy when I feel passionate. TV,......yuk!
Let's get it on!

There are many different levels and areas where we can be passioned about. Some of the areas can be destructive to individuals and society (war, violence, greed, power, fanaticism) just to name some of them. But I do believe and support all form of passion guided by love and understanding
where the welfare of humanity is at the forefront.

Passion is the drive that makes me want to get up early and go to bed late in its pursuit. Doesn't matter what the focus of the passion is. It could be anything.

I'm not completely sure if I could distinguish passion in my life.
But I get the feeling that if I didn't have it in my life, it wouldn't be a life I'd like to live.
So I just think life is passion.

Passion depends on its context. Humans suffer because they cannot conquer their animal passions, but religious leaders help us because they have passion for humanity. Sexual passion is an illusion unless it is linked with true love and COMPASSION. That help?

Passion to me is one of the strongest emotions that I possess. It pertains to every aspect of my life.My friends,my lover,my job ...everything. It is what makes me strive to be better and gets me out of bed in the morning. Without it I would be an empty shell.

passion is when you have a burning desire so deep in your soul until you cannot rest until you have touched it, even if only with the tip of your finger, and oh my Gosh.....if you get that taste then you seek and seek and figure out a path to your desire
