My youngest daughter's boyfriend has the same condition. HIS feet stink so bad that it smells up the whole house when he takes off his shoes.
It IS curable, because this guy went to the doctor just last month who gave him a specific medication to use. He has to put this stuff on his feet and then keep his feet wrapped in plastic overnight.
The stuff killed the stink COMPLETELY in three days.
The bad thing is that now the stink is back, because the boyfriend says he is allergic to the cure (he gets hives), so refuses to use it.
Now everyone else is back to wanting to throw up every time he takes off his shoes.

Yes. That is most definatly why "your friend" cannont find a girlfriend. So, you should tell "your friend" to get some foot spray and clean socks. It will help.
