C'mon...cheap shot. Fox covers the death toll. I watch fox news and they announce the toll of any suicide bombings or attacks of both sides. They just don't dwell entirely upon it. There is other news in Iraq to report although you'd be hard pressed to find it in the mainstream news.

Good point! I suppose all the media would be clambering to get on the plane so they could cover the Iraq death squads.

I believe it's one of those rare cases of; "lose lose situation". Had we just left after Saddam was caught, media and protesters would have been screaming that since we were already there we should have done something! Or, how could our government have deserted those people.

Fox news definitely has a conservative bend, but I've never seen them pass up a good story yet. And believe this: Bill O, would never give up or go back on something he originally said or believed in... We all know that!

I'm sure they would, but at least it would only be the Iraqi dead not the deaths of our troops. We're beginning the 5th year now of the debacle in Iraq, over 3,200 of our troops have lost their lives and over 21,000 are wounded. How long must this go on?

If we pull out now their will be plenty of death toll for all network news to cover.

Why is the death toll so important, and why do we use that as a measuring stick?

We should stop selling alchohol, it kills 20 times as many people a year than we lose in Iraq. 16,000 people a year killed by drunk drivers, why doesn't the media keep a running tally on that number?

Nah, their not that serious of journalists. But they would speculate about what the death toll is.

Pulling out now?

Same as pulling out before nutting.

No point in even going in to begin with.

In war, people get killed. Counting bodies does not make a difference in the reason for war. Counting is for cowards who are not willing to fight for what is right.

No, only CNN and their cronies cover stories with negitive spins, good spin isn't a product of the drive by media!
