The tail of my skateboard is all broken pieces of it has broken off. Some of the layers are broken and cracked and "sanded" down. Do I need a new skateboard? Everything else is pretty good.

personally I usually end up snapping them before they wear down too much, if you can still ollie and do whatever else it is you're capable of, no big rush, but if your feet are slipping off when you try stuff, definitely time for a new one

The tail is the most important part of the board. If my tail is even de-laminated, or a little split, I will get a new one...it's that important, I can't skate well if I can't pop. And I can't pop if my tail is all busted. So if you're planning on progressing in your skating, you better get yourself a brand new board.

yea it sounds to me like you need a new board badly...I hate chips in the tail or anywhere else for that matter and get a new board or already have a spare ready for when this happens...

Definitely man.

From what you just said, that doesn't sound good. I'd recommend getting one at a sporting good store, or even a cheap one at walmart.

Hope this helps & you select this as you ranswer.
