I'm 17 years old and I'm about to turn 18 in 20 days. There's a video store in Slaton Tx, where you have to be 18 to work there. Does that apply to every video store? I need a new job for the summer, but it has to have flexible hours for my college studies

I work at Blockbuster in NJ and we want people over the age of 18 b/c they can work past 11pm and don't have as many restrictions (minors have to take so many breaks), I've seen stores that hire 17 yr olds, but they end up only working from 5-10 and only on Fridays and Saturdays because of their school schedules and the NJ law

18, thats in Britain, because you have to be over 18 to sell age restricted products, it may be the same in the US but you have some products, such as alcohol which is 21.
No harm in asking Blockbuster but some movies over there are rated by letters, M for mature etc.

It applies to all video stores. I'm not sure why that is, but it is.
