Should I trade carlos beltran for vernon wells and jason schmidt?

Yes. Like someone said before, Wells will have a really good season (not enough for MVP) and Beltran will be good but not as good as last year.
They should be pretty much equal in HR this year but think about batting average.
Last year Beltan hit .275 and Wells hit .303
.167 was Beltran's AVG in the last 3 weeks of the season.
The trade is kind of iffy but if he throws Schmidt in too, take it. But beware, this could be one of those trades you might regret.

Yes, Carlos Beltran is good but, so is Vernon Wells. They both have about the same caliber and with you also getting Schmidt you should do this trade.

Tough choice here. beltran easily trumps wells in rbi, runs, hrs. And this year in steals with Ricky henderson in camp helping him return to his former 40 steal self. Schmidt is what is comes down to. if you think this sucky spring training for him is a sign of what will happen this year, dont do it. If you think Schmidt wins 15, has a 3 era and k's 190, do it. In the end it is a yes do it. Orginally I was looking at it and saying no but if you need help in pitching, schmidt can do it. Going to LAD will bring his era down even more with the great pitchers park. Go for it. GL

yes. Well, it depends on if your team is set with SBs. If it's not, don't pull the trigger. If it is, then the small gap from Wells to Beltran is filled and possibly exceeded with Schmidt.

BELTRAN IS CONSISTENT BUT WELLS JUST GOT A NEW CONTRACT AND HAVE A BREAK OUT YEAR. SCHMIDT IS ALWAYS A 15 GAME WINNER SO DO IT.

sounds good to me. vernon wells is gonna have an MVP-type year. and in my opinion hes better the beltran. so a steal for you in my opinion
