i have dark brown eyes and hair. i find that a really light green looks amazing. actually, any earthly color looks nice on us... brown shades look amazing as well... light pink colors look nice.... for an evening or night, purple looks amazing... the smoky eye using purple and beige looks really good. try using the mircoviolet fluidline by MAC with it as well, and you will look amazing... its my personal Favorite.! good luck

They say purple is the best for brown eyes......i would probably go with a lighter purple....what you can do is look at Almay's set for brown eyes and get an idea from them....they also tell you how to apply the colors as well....i have very dark brown eyes and blonde hair...i use light purple a lot and a darker color is the crease of the eye....

I have brown eyes, and I use a light brown, or a light pink or purple, I think it adds more color.

I have dark brown eyes and during the day stick with beiges and golds and at night gray and lavenders! but I am a little tan also!

PURPLES & PiNKS.
you should also but the almay "bring out the brown" eyeshadows.
they also have eyeliner & mascara w/ that brand that goes with dark brown eyes.

Bronze looks very nice on someone who has tanner skin, and blue can also be a fun color to play with.

It's your skin color more than your eye color that dictates best colors for eye shadow

it would depend what occasion, as well as your skin colour
a neutral colour would be good for every day wear, perharps a light brown, or a shimmery gold.
For something a bit more daring try an emerald green.

if not, mac pigment are good also, but a bit more expensive.

A light purple color like lavender. Or green is pretty too.

i also have dark brown eyes & i have found that light purple works great. But also, gold & pink work.
