Oh yes, I hate to be called ma'am, it makes be feel old and stodgy. Even "hey, lady" would be better.

yeah. makes me feel old. i have issues.
yet in the same day i will be carded for alcohol. yeah, i know about the card if you look under 30 rule, but they do it suspiciously, like my id is fake. so i'm a ma'am AND a punk kid with a fake id ....

Alot better than "ms", which I totally hate because I want NO part with anything "feminist" -- Thank you -- and also don't you think that it should really be spelled "mz" since that is how it actually sounds????
And actually since I've never been married...I prefer "Miss" myself....Much more FEMININE....as opposed to FEMINIST, which I would NEVER be for ANYTHING!
They don't speak for me in any way, shape, or form and they presume too much!

I used to hate it before I turned 30...it just seemed so inappropriate. I guess I'm used to it now...can't say I like it though.
