Well the population is constantly changing as a result of people dying every minute and babies being born every minute. This means an exact number can't be given. But it is known that as we came into 2007, the population was 6.6 billion.

It is forecast that the population will become 6.8 billion in 2010 and 7.6 billion by 2020.
