I've got a 96 Isuzu Rodeo and the front wiper blades suddenly stopped working. The windshield cleaner spray doesn't work either. Does this sound like a wiper motor problem (in which case I'd have to replace it), or is it something else?

sounds like a fuse problem since the wiper motor and the pump for your window sprayer are two separate things...that or maybe the switches on your turn signal stalk are messed up, check if your cruise control and the other things on it still work too.

Wiper motors are a strange breed. Check the fuse first. If it's bad, and keeps blowing on replacement, you may need a auto-reset circuit breaker to replace the fuse.

Apparently when wiper motors get a little worn, they can get out of sequence with the wiper rhythm. The resetting circuit breaker helps to get them back in line. It will blow and reset a few times before finding the rhythm. Once it's found, you will be good to go for a while.

Sounds more like a switch problem or perhaps an electrical problem to the switch. Motor and spray together doesn't sound like a motor
