I had installed AVG but now are there any other software i need to install in addition with that since i had only AVG? Or is AVG alone works great? (no need firewall or anti-spyware programs..)

Only Use 1 anti-virus, but its a good idea to have more than 1 anti-spyware,because every program will find something different. I use AVG and I also use these 2 free programs.

You must have 1 or 2 antispyware on your computer to protect your computer.Of course there are many solutions exist, all of them with their own strengths and weaknesses.So which anti-spyware is the most suited for your system? Never click OK on a popup. Just hit the X in the top right corner.
You've got SpyWare. You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.
These are cleanup tools. Ad-aware cleans files, and SpyBot cleans the registry.

I would suggest Spybot Search & Destroy as well. It works great and is free.

i would advise getting the following 3 programs
1. adaware se
2. windows defender
3. spybot search and destroy put these into eg google donwload, install, update and full system scan
